Doug is an executive coach, retirement specialist,
teleclass
leader, and author with significant management and corporate
experience. Doug guides individuals to their sacred dance . . . that unique dance where one's greatest gift is expressed for the greatest good.
After five years as an officer in the US Navy, Doug
entered the healthcare field as an operations manager. During his
20 years in healthcare, Doug served in staff and line positions
with the last 10 years in executive level marketing
positions. He has senior staff and Board of Director experience in
both for-profit and not-for-profit environments.
Doug has been a professional coach since 1998. He is a graduate of
Coach University and has been certified as a master certified coach (MCC) by
Coach University and the International Coach Federation (ICF). He
is a member of the International Coach Federation and an affiliate
of the Pyramid Resource Group, the corporate coaching company.
Doug is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in
Annapolis, Maryland, and received his MBA from Northeastern
University’s Executive MBA Program. In 1996, he completed the
yearlong Leadership Maine program.
Doug lives in Coronado, California with Sally,
his wife of more than 30 years. They have two children, Heather
and Zach, who are grown and off creating their own lives.
When not coaching, Doug can usually be found running, water
color painting (nothing for the museums . . . yet), rowing a scull or
kayaking on San Diego bay, or enjoying the view from a bench at
the ocean while catching up on life in general with Sally.
